Das Album beginnt plakativ wie gewohnt mit der Zeile `I’m talking about the death of rock’n’roll´, in der Folge kontrastiert der ATR-Frontmann seine Ausage mit der bislang offensivsten Verwendung von Gitarren und fordert hiermit die Rückbesinnung auf die musikalische Energie frühen Punks, von Detroit-Techno und japanischem Noise. Sein `Futurist ´-Credo lautet: `To me ‘Futurist’ sums up my attitude, the music and the need to do something before we all die of boredom.´ *DHR
