Trust Records presents the first official release of BAD BRAINS' Are You Ready: The First Studio Recording (Inner Ear March 1979), recorded three years before the band's self-titled, 1982 debut LP. The one-sided EP includes six tracks, among them the first studio recording of "Pay To Cum," and features a laser-etched B-side with art by Darryl Jenifer. Packaging includes a poly-lined inner sleeve, a double-sided insert of archival photos, and liner notes by Alec MacKaye. Officially produced in cooperation with BAD BRAINS Mixed by Ian MacKaye and mastered by Pete Lyman at Infrasonic.
