Repress des 2012er-Albums! Unvergesslich auf Lebzeit ist Cody´s Kollabo mit den Roots bei "The Seed 2.0", ansonsten war Cody seit Erscheinen seines letzten Albums 2004 Privatier. Unterstützt von einer 10-köpfigen Band, zu der auch eine Bläsersektion und ein Background-Lady-Chor zählen, nahm Cody in den legendären Royal Studios in Memphis auf und sang in das Originalmikrophon von Al Green. Seine Stimme klingt befreit und losgelöst, stilistisch klingt das Album der Zeit enthoben, Blues spielt eine unabdingbare Rolle in seinem umfangreichen, abwechslungsreichen Southern-Soul-Sound, der auch triefende, orchestrierte Balladen, rural Funk, swingenden Jazz-Funk bis hin zu psychedelischen Tribalstücken bereithält. *One Little Indian
