*** Nach der tollen LP legt John Wright (Drums NoMeansNo) zwei neue Songs nach! In this new incarnation, Wright is joined by Colin MacRae, Byron Slack, Ford Pier, and Kristy Lee Audette, reimagining two incredible covers to mark his reunion with the label that helped launch his legacy. He didn’t have to look far for the track "Some Bodies" originally a NoMeansNo song from their 1985 release "You Kill Me". This new version starts with rich vocal harmonies in the call back to the original a cappella intro and builds into an explosive reworking of the classic - with Audette’s powerful vocals along with bold horn arrangements driving it into new territory. The song loses none of its original intensity, instead gaining new layers and depth. NoMeansNo fans will be thrilled. On the flip side "We Are The Humans" is a complete reimagining of Kraftwerk’s "We Are The Robots". In the age of AI, the track feels more relevant than ever with the new title and chant. The guitar and bass work is front and center, reminding listeners why John Wright's incredible songwriting legacy endures to this day * AT.
