Vinylrepress des 2009er-Albums. Das San Francisco 2-Mann Projekt Girls steht für puren Flower-Power-Pop im besten Sinne. Verantwortlich für das Hippie-Lebensgefühl ist Bandkopf Christopher Owens (Ex-Holy Shit). Vermischt wird hier Beatlesker Rock mit Psychedelic, einer Prise Trash, etwas Beach Boys und geilen Shoegazer-Gitarren. Alles gut abgehangen und mit dem Popgefühl der 90er überzogen, einem bewusst gewählten, leicht verstaubten, aber charmanten Lo-Fi Touch und schon haben wir eine besinnliche Gute-Laune Platte zwischen My Brightblack Morning Light und Mystery Girls. Nichts für die Ewigkeit, aber im Moment sehr Klasse. *PIAS
