Limited double LP in brown vinyl colour (LPx2 col) contains on disc 2 "Sonic Fragments from Unmaker", which are the apocalyptic synth-soundscapes from the original album recordings. Das dritte Album des Vierers aus Kopenhagen, 10 Songs feinster Doom-Post-Metal für Fans von Bands wie Amen Ra oder Year Of No Light, also schwer, schleppend, aber auch mit schiebenden und unheimlich überschäumenden druckvollen Passagen. Herausstechend v.a. der gute Einsatz von Synthies, der eine post-apokalyptische, fast schon Film-reife Atmosphäre erzeugt, wie man sie aus John Carpenter-Filmen kennt, und teils fast schon futuristisch anmutet. Sehr dicht und atmosphärisch, und durchaus mit dem Anspruch, dem Genre noch etwas Neues abzugewinnen. Spannend! * Pelagic.
