Eine vor Abwechslung nur so strotzende Achterbahnfahrt, klar ist nur, dass das hier progressives Songwriting auf allerhöchstem Niveau ist. Was für Musiker, mit 3/4- oder 4/4-Takten hat man bei Mars Volta nichts am Hut, unter 5/6 läuft gar nichts,Tonnen von Breaks, Rhythmus- und Stimmungswechsel, spacige wie knallharte Parts und äußerst variable hohe Vocals, die mehr als einmal an Björk erinnern.
