"Still Feel Gone" (1991) ist das zweite Album der American Alternative Country Pioniere. Während das Debütalbum "No Depression" (1990) von halsbrecherischen Tempi mit gelegentlich langsamen Geschwindigkeiten dominiert wurde, wählen Uncle Tupelo auf "Still Feel Gone" den Mittelweg mit Akustikgitarren. "Still Be Around" und "Looking For A Way Out" sind Beispiele für Songs mit schnellen Akustikgitarren. Die Band klingt sogar noch kraftvoller als zuvor. Und das breitere Bild der Fähigkeiten von Farrar, Tweedy und Heidom bestätigt die sowieso schon starke Mischung. * MoV
